Use the Search by Specific Clause page to select individual clauses and set search conditions for the contracts. Clause selection is done by setting search conditions on the clauses, filtering the results, and adding and removing individual clauses.
To select clauses on this page, you must enter search attributes for clauses and contracts.
Navigate to the Contracts Workbench
Click the Analyze Contract Clauses link. The system displays the Analyze Contract Clauses Search page.
Click the Search by Specific Clauses button to open the search page.
Enter search attributes for both clauses and contracts.
You can search by:
Intent: Select Buy or Sell intent from the list of values.
Clause Usage: You can select Standard, Non-Standard, or Both from the list of values.
Summarize By: Optionally indicate how the search results should be summarized by selecting the Clause, Clause Type, or Clause Version option from the list of values.
Document Type: You can search for clauses and contracts across document types. The list of values includes all available document types.
Operating Unit
In the Clause Selection region, optionally select the check box for:
Include Alternates: The search results will include all alternate clauses for each clause that you have selected.
Include Adopted Clauses: The search results will include all adopted versions of each global clause that you have selected.
Include All Versions: If you do not select the check box, the search results will include only the version that you have selected.
Click the Add Clauses button. The system displays the Search and Select: Clauses page. Use this page to search and add clauses to the search selection.
You must select at least one clause before running the report. For more information, see the Search and Select: Clauses page.
In the Contract Criteria region, enter your search attributes. The attributes in the Contract Criteria region are based on the values that you select for the Intent and Contract Type fields.
Click Go to run the Contract Clause Analysis report.
