The following applies when the Contract Source of a business document is Structured Terms.
Alternate clauses can be defined to be used as a substitute for the main clause on a contract. If a clause on a business document has one or more alternate clauses, you can view the alternate clauses, and enable one of the alternate clauses to become the current clause for the business document.
You must be in the Contract Terms page.
The clause must have a marker icon displayed in the Select Alternate column.
Click the marker icon in the Select Alternate column.
The Select Alternate Clause page appears, showing the current clause and all the alternate clauses.
Optionally, to see the text of any clause, click the Show link in the Details column for the clause.
If you want to enable one of the alternate clauses to become the current clause, click the Select radio button for the alternate clause, and click Apply.
