You must specify statutory information related to an employers' registration with the Social Security Organization. Some information related to the calculation of the employer's social security payments and reporting is also stored against this information type. The Social Security agencies require this information for Affiliation Process reporting.
Query the GRE in the Organization window, if it does not already appear there. In the Organization Classifications region, select GRE/Legal Entity and click Others.
Select Social Security Details.
Click in the field of the Additional Organization Information window to open the Social Security Details window.
Specify the GRE's unique Social Security ID.
Specify the name of the person who has legal authority to represent the employer during any legal issue with a government institution. This is optional information. This overrides the legal authority specified at the Legal Employer level.
Indicate if this is a transmitter GRE.
If this is a transmitter GRE, specify its magnetic media waybill number.
If this is not a transmitter GRE, specify what transmitter GRE to which it belongs.
Specify the GRE's economic zone.
Indicate how HRMS should calculate the days per month or year. By default, HRMS uses the actual days per month. You can override the default with an average:
Average number of days per month. Defining it here overrides the average days per month specified at the Legal Employer level.
Average number of days per year. Defining it here overrides the average days per year specified at the Legal Employer level.
Indicate the calculation method for determining your employees' Integrated Daily Wage (Earnings or Factor Table).
Note: Changing the calculation method of an existing GRE requires some additional steps.
Indicate in the Run SS Archiver by GRE only field, whether this GRE can be excluded when the Social Security Archiver is run for a legal employer.
If you select Yes, then HRMS excludes this GRE when the Social Security Archiver is submitted for a legal employer.
If you select No, then HRMS includes this GRE when the Social Security Archiver is submitted for a legal employer.
Specify in the ER pay SS Quotas if EE Sal equal to Min Wage field, the method to calculate Social Security Quota components:
If you select No or not entered and the employee daily salary is equal to or less than the GRE Minimum Wage, then the Employee Social Security Quota will be calculated.
If you select Yes and the employee daily salary is equal to or less than the GRE Minimum Wage, then the Employee Social Security Quota will be added to the Employer Social Security Quota and the Employee Social Security Quota will be reported as Zero.
