Because some Oracle Applications products have overlapping functions, the following Oracle Order Management profile options also affects the operation of Receivables, even if you have not installed Oracle Order Management.
This profile option controls whether or not a deposit assigned in Order Management affects the commitment balance in Receivables. See: Using Commitments.
If set to Yes, then the commitment balance includes reserved amounts.
If set to No, then Receivables assumes that no amounts were reserved in Order Management.
This profile option indicates the structure of the Item Flexfield (System Items) used by Order Management. This structure should be the same across all applications in the same database.
This profile option is visible and updatable at the site level.
