Use the Add Party page to add a new party to the contract. For every new party you need to select the Party Role and Name.

The list of available Party Roles that you can select is based on the Intent of the contract. If the Intent of the contract is Buy, the Party Roles that can be selected are Supplier and Partner. If the Intent is Sell, the Party Roles that can be selected are Customer and Partner. If the Intent is Other, you can select Supplier or Customer.

In the Add Party page select the following information for the party and then click Apply:

• Party Role (Required)

• Party Name (Required)

  For contracts with the intent of Sell or Other, the system displays the customers. For the Buy intent, the system accesses the list of vendors defined in Oracle Procurement Contracts. For more information, see Oracle Procurement Contracts Implementation and Administration Guide.
