Deliverables can be of a recurring nature. For example, a progress report is due every first Monday of the month.
A deliverable can be defined as recurring by selecting the Repeating Deliverable radio button. The repeating deliverable instances will be created upon approval or signing of the business document on which they appear. You will be able to track and update the status of each instance like a one-time deliverable.
For recurring deliverables, where both the start and end dates are event-based, the two events must belong to the same document type. Otherwise the system will report an error upon saving.
Note: When you apply a contract template to a business document, deliverables with event-based due dates may be dropped if the due date event does not belong to that business document type, or to the target business document type, or to the contractual business document type.
An example of a repeating deliverable is a report that needs to be sent on the 5th day of the month every three months after the purchase agreement is signed. For this example, you enter or select the following data values:
Event = Signing of the Purchase Agreement
Frequency = Monthly
Interval = 3
Day of the month to repeat on = 5
