When you are processing a particular business document, you can display summary information about the deliverables on that business document.
The summary information includes, for each deliverable, the status, the responsible party, the contact, and the due date. In addition, an alert marker indicates if the deliverable is overdue, or if the responsible party failed to perform the deliverable.
After viewing the summary information, you can perform one or more of the following, for each deliverable:
Note: An Internal User logging on, who has access to a given business document, can view and manage all the deliverables for that document. An External User logging on can view all the deliverables on the business document, but can only manage statuses on those deliverables where the Responsible Party is the external Organization, for example, Supplier Organization in the Buy flow.
View details of the deliverable.
Update the status of the deliverable.
Add attachments to the deliverable.
After viewing the summary information, you can perform one or more of the following, for each deliverable:
When processing an Oracle Purchasing business document, click Update Deliverable Status. Alternatively, if you are processing a purchase order with deliverables through Oracle iSupplier Portal, click Manage Deliverables.
The Manage Deliverables page that appears shows the following for each deliverable on the business document:
Deliverable Name
Deliverable Type
Responsible Party
Contact
Due Date
Status
If the deliverable is overdue, or if the responsible party failed to perform the deliverable, an icon appears in the Alert column for that deliverable.
Each row also has an Update icon, to allow you to update the deliverable.
You may perform any of the following operations:
Click the link on the deliverable name to see further details of the deliverable. From the page that appears, you will be able to switch to update mode, in order to update the status of the deliverable
Click the Update icon, to enable you to update the status of the deliverable (and to add attachments) directly in the page that appears.
