Setting Up Contact Roles

You can define an unlimited number of contact roles. These roles will be available when you add internal or external contacts to a party on a contract. For more information, see the Creating Contracts section.

Steps

  1. Log in with the Contracts Workbench Administrator responsibility.

  2. Navigate to the Create Contact Role page.

    Navigation: Contract Types > Create Contact Role button

  3. Enter a unique Name for the contact role.

  4. Enter a Description for the contact role.

  5. In the Start Date field, enter the effective date for the contact role. This is the date that you can start using the contact rule in Repository contracts.

  6. Optionally, enter the End Date for the contact role. After the End Date has passed, users cannot select this role for any new contract.

  7. Click Apply.

    Note: After you create a contact role, you cannot update the following fields:

    • Name

    • Start Date
