The 2483 report uses specific measurement types for each type of cost that is included in the cost calculation for the 2483 declaration. The Define OTA Data concurrent process automatically generates the measurement types that the 2483 report uses. The 2483 report uses only the automatically generated measurements types, so you must run the Define OTA Data process before you generate the report.
You can also create other measurement types to record costs that are not deductible from the training contributions. These costs do not appear in the 2483 report.
Attention: The concurrent process creates the measurement types with a budgeting level of Plan. You can change the budgeting level to meet your budgeting requirements. You must not change the costing level as the 2483 concurrent process uses existing data that has the costing level predefined.
To support the reporting of costs, the Define OTA Data concurrent program creates the following Measurement Types:
Attention: If you have defined a mandatory segment either at the global level or for the default context (if any) of the Additional Plan Measure Details descriptive flexfield, the Define OTA Data concurrent program will not create the measurement types. You must create the measurement types manually.
