Running the TIAA-CREF OPS Layout Report

The TIAA-CREF OPS Layout concurrent process produces the following outputs:

The TIAA CREF OPS Layout Exception report shows the error out records. If there are no errors, then the report will show 'No data found.'
Exceptions will be raised for the following anomalies:
  • Plan number is null.

  • Source or Sub Plan is null.

  • Primary Balance is null for the element.

  • Mode is null.

  • Primary Balance not unique across element entries.

Run the TIAA-CREF Open Plan Solutions (OPS) Layout report from the Submit Request Set window.

arrow icon   To run the TIAA-CREF OPS Layout report:

  1. Select TIAA-CREF OPS Layout in the Name field.

  2. Click in the Parameters field.

  3. Enter a value into both the Start Date and End Date fields. These dates define the period you want represented in the TIAA-CREF output file.

  4. Select the Government Reporting Entity that you want to run this report for. Leave this field blank to run this report for all GREs.

  5. Select the Payroll that you want to run this report for. Leave this field blank to run this report for all Payrolls.

  6. Select the Consolidation Set for the TIAA-CREF report.

  7. Click OK, then Submit.

Note: The plan number can be entered at the payroll level, but if the plan number is different across elements it can be entered at the element level in Element Extra Information. If the TIAA CREF plan contribution and other related values (like sub plan, source and primary balance)are being entered in Element Extra Information, then these values are NOT required for system-generated elements such as the Special Inputs, Special Features, or Taxable by JD elements (etc). They are just required for the base element(s). However, if any of these values are entered in the system-generated elements, ALL related input values need to be entered and a primary balance must be defined; otherwise the TIAA CREF OPS Layout Report will error and report these missing values as exceptions.

Use the View Requests window to see the progress of the report and view the audit report produced. You can then submit the file created by the TIAA-CREF. Oracle Payroll produces the file in Open Plan Solutions (OPS) format.
