The VETS-100 Report reflects the categories of veterans covered under the affirmative action provisions of Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA) prior to the Jobs for Veterans Act (JVA) amendments.

A person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service connected disability.
Recently separated veteran
Any veteran who was discharged or released from active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service during the three-year period beginning on the date of such veteran's discharge or release from active duty.

The VETS-100A reports you submit depend on whether you are a single-establishment or multi-establishment employer.
You submit your VETS-100A reports using any of the following methods:
Direct entry of information using the VETS-100A online service. Single establishments and other organizations that prepare and submit a small number of forms use this method. The online service can also be appropriate for organizations that complete large numbers of forms but at multiple locations.
Electronic submission on diskette. Organizations that have 10 or more sites use this method and submit forms from one central location.
Hard copy. Organizations that have nine or fewer locations can use this method and generate text or PDF formatted reports.
Oracle HRMS recommends that you obtain your VETS -100A reports by submitting the VETS-100A Suite of Reports or the Electronic VETS-100A Report. The application automatically creates single-establishment or multi-establishment reports for you from the hierarchy structure you identify.
VETS-100A Veterans Employment Report: The application produces the report for single-establishment or multi-establishment, which is required for each establishment with 50 or more employees.
Note: The Headquarters report is produced under the same header as the VETS-100A Veterans Employment Report. It covers employees in the parent company or headquarters organization of your enterprise.
VETS-100A Consolidated Veterans Employment Report, which lists by state details of hiring locations with fewer than 50 employees
VETS-100A Consolidated Veterans Employment Report, which lists by state details of hiring locations with fewer than 50 employees
You must either submit the VETS-100A Employment Listing in hard copy or include an email form with the VETS-100A Consolidated Veterans Employment Report.
For the hiring locations in your enterprise, VETS-100A reporting shows:
For each EEO job category, Numbers of Disabled Veterans, Other Protected Veterans, and Armed Forces Service Medal Veterans you employ.
Total number of new hires in the reporting period in each job category, and the number of new hires in each category who are Disabled Veterans, Other Protected Veterans, Armed Forces Service Medal Veterans, and Recently Separated Veterans.
Maximum and minimum numbers of regular employees employed during the report period.
VETS-100A reporting covers those veterans you employ at each hiring location in a GRE who:
Qualify as Special Disabled Veterans or Vietnam Era Veterans, in accordance with the legal definitions of these categories.
Work on a non-temporary, full-time or part-time basis.
Have a non-terminated employment status on the end date of the report period.
To record the veteran status of your employees, you select a veteran status when entering other personal information for them. To determine which of your employment categories cover non-temporary full time or part time workers, and which assignment statuses count as non-terminated, you register them as Reporting Categories and Reporting Statuses.
