Duplicating Existing Clauses in the Library

You can use the Duplicate feature to create new clauses from existing ones. The Duplicate feature is available from the Search and View Clause pages.

When you duplicate clauses, you can select whether to copy folders and related clauses. Note, however the following points concerning clauses in global and local operating units:

Steps:

  1. Search and select a clause from the Search or View Clause pages.

  2. Click Duplicate (or select the Duplicate Action and click Go).

  3. In the New Clause Title field, enter a unique title.

  4. Optionally, select the check boxes to copy related clauses and folders.

  5. Click Save and Continue.

    The page that appears allows you to enter further clause details.

  6. Enter or change the information as described in Creating a New Clause in the Library.
