You set up and manage numbering schemes in the Library.
You can make changes to your existing numbering schemes, however you cannot end date a numbering scheme. You can delete any numbering scheme that is not assigned to a contract template.
If you define a numbering scheme of the type "a,b,c...", and a specific level has more than 26 entries, the system does not create further alphabetic entries. Instead, the system uses symbols (such as aa,bb) for all entries beyond 26. Preview the business document or contract template as applicable, and make sure the numbering scheme used is changed to use some other type.
Note: For business documents that already use the numbering scheme, users must manually apply the numbering scheme to get the updates onto the contract. For more information, see Renumbering Sections and Clauses in a Business Document.
