Use this process to enter or delete default mileage elements and rates tables for categories of vehicles in your business group. The categories are defined by ownership (company or private), usage type (primary, additional, essential, or casual), vehicle type, and fuel type. You can enter separate elements and rates tables for as many categories as you require. See: Rates Tables and Mileage Elements.

You run processes in the Submit Requests window.

   To run the vehicle mileage calculation information process:

1. In the Name field, select Vehicle Mileage Calculation Information.

2. Enter the Parameters field to open the Parameters window.

3. You can enter any combination of the following:

   • Ownership--company or private

   • Vehicle type

   • Fuel Type

4. If you selected an ownership type, you can also select a usage type: Primary or Additional for company vehicles, Casual or Essential for private vehicles.

5. Optionally select a default rates table for the category of vehicle you have defined by your selection in the other fields.

6. If you selected a vehicle type, you can also select an element for the category of vehicle you have defined.

7. Select a mode

   • Insert--to add the default you have defined

   • Delete--to remove the existing defaults for the category of vehicles you have defined

8. Choose OK.

9. Choose the Submit button.
