After making changes in a contract template, such as moving or deleting sections and clauses, you must manually renumber the sections and clauses by applying a numbering scheme to the contract template.
Numbering schemes are defined in the Library. For more information, see Managing Numbering Schemes in the Library.
You must be in the Clauses tab of the details page for your contract template to begin the process of renumbering sections and clauses.
Click Renumber.
In the Renumber page, in the Pick Numbering Scheme field, select a numbering scheme from the list.
Review the numbering scheme before applying the changes to the contract template.
Click Apply.
